Chinese–Spanish Translator and Interpreter

About this task

Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day Chinese–Spanish document translation and communication support for the production department, ensuring accurate communication of production processes, technical documents, and training materials. Assist management and teams with cross-cultural communication to support smooth production operations.
1. Translate production-related technical documents, operating manuals, training materials, and internal notices.
2. Facilitate communication among production management, Chinese teams, and local employees to ensure information is conveyed accurately.
3. Interpret at production meetings, including training sessions, discussions, and communication of work instructions.
4. Assist in preparing bilingual reports and documents and maintain complete document archives.
5. Participate in cross-departmental projects as needed, providing translation and language support.
6. Complete other tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above; translation, linguistics, industrial engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. Fluency in spoken and written Chinese and Spanish, with the ability to translate and interpret effectively.
3. One to three years of translation or production support experience; a manufacturing background is preferred.
4. Familiarity with production processes and related terminology, along with document management skills.
5. Strong communication and coordination skills, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility; ability to adapt to a fast-paced factory environment.
6. A Mexican residence card or a US visa is preferred.

1. 翻译生产部相关的技术文件、操作手册、培训材料及内部通知。
2. 协助生产管理层、中方团队及本地员工之间的沟通，确保信息准确传达。
3. 支持生产会议的口译工作，包括培训、讨论及工作指令。
4. 协助制作双语报告及文档，确保资料存档完整。
5. 根据需要参与跨部门项目，提供翻译及语言支持。
6. 完成领导交代的其他任务。
任职要求：
1. 本科及以上学历，翻译、语言学、工业工程或相关专业优先。
2. 中、西语口语及书面表达流利，能够进行高效翻译与口译。
3. 1—3年翻译或生产支持经验，有制造业背景者优先。
4. 熟悉生产流程及相关术语，具备文档管理能力。
5. 具备良好的沟通协调能力、团队合作精神及责任心，能够适应工厂快节奏工作环境。
6. 持有墨西哥居留卡者或美签优先。
