Hungarian Language Lead - Freelance

About this task

Oversee Hungarian-language projects, ensuring linguistic quality and consistency across technical and marketing content. Review QA reports and monitor linguist performance, conduct quality reviews, answer linguistic queries, train linguists, and support customer onboarding. Manage terminology and glossaries, improve linguistic instructions and reference materials, and prepare performance reports.

Requirements: Native-level Hungarian and excellent English. At least five years of translation or localization experience, including experience in localization project management or a language lead role. Experience with technical and marketing content is required; IT/software experience is an asset. Familiarity with localization best practices and tools is expected. Freelance engagement, approximately 5–9 hours per month, with additional translation, MTPE, and revision work. Applicants must be eligible to work from Hungary.
