French Voice Data Collection Participant

About this task

Record short wake-up phrases and scripted utterances commonly used in voice-assistant interactions, following the provided instructions. The project is fully remote and can be completed from anywhere in France or its overseas territories. The recording task takes approximately 30 minutes. Participants receive $33 USD for deliverables that are completed and accepted.

Requirements: Participants must be native French speakers, born and living in France or an overseas territory, and at least 18 years old; participants aged 7–16 may also be eligible through the separate minors form. A good command of English is required to follow project instructions. Participants need a mobile phone, a wired headset or device microphone, and a quiet indoor recording environment. The project is currently seeking male voices with accents from northern, northeastern, southwestern, and southeastern France, as well as participants from specified overseas territories.
