Spanish Consecutive Interpreter

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive interpretation during phone calls, meetings, conferences, interviews, and other assignments.
- Listen carefully to speakers and accurately convey messages between the source and target languages.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity, and follow applicable client protocols, including HIPAA requirements.

Requirements:
- At least three years of experience or 3,000 hours of active interpretation.
- Proficiency in at least two languages, including English and Spanish.
- English proficiency at technical level on the national ILR rating or equivalent.
- Pass a mock call assessment and provide a resume showing relevant interpretation experience and a criminal background check in English.
- Have a headset, stable internet, and a laptop.
- Remote, on-demand independent contractor role.
