MEP Project Manager (Chile, South America)

About this task

Position: Resident Project Manager in Chile, specializing in mechanical, electrical and plumbing installation.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full lifecycle of installation projects in Chile and neighboring countries, coordinating construction, commercial matters, teams and external stakeholders while supporting regional business development.
2. Lead construction planning through handover, controlling safety, schedule and quality to achieve on-time delivery to the required standards.
3. Establish a local workforce and core construction management team within one month, and implement an effective project management system.
4. Manage estimating, costs, contractual obligations, site variations and commercial terms to protect project profitability.
5. Coordinate partners, regulatory authorities, internal departments and local stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
6. Support preliminary project research and coordination in Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and other neighboring markets.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrated full-time experience independently managing complete projects for a construction contractor, rather than nominal appointments or assistant roles. Previous technical lead experience is preferred; overseas project experience is an advantage.
2. Strong expertise in integrated MEP installation, including HVAC, fire protection, power distribution, low-voltage systems and intelligent/information systems. Familiarity with industrial MEP and supporting systems for water and environmental projects is desirable; broader expertise is preferred.
3. Ability to independently manage overseas projects, combining comprehensive site management, commercial estimating and stakeholder coordination.
4. Familiarity with hospital MEP installation or water and environmental project construction procedures and standards is preferred.
5. Basic communication skills in Spanish and English, proficiency with translation tools and effective cross-cultural communication; native-level fluency is not required.
6. Strong adaptability, resilience and results orientation, with the ability to respond quickly to local emergencies.
Location and availability: Based in Chile, with regional development support in Colombia, Peru and Bolivia. Must be available to start within one month.

5. 对接合作方、监管机构，统筹跨部门及属地沟通，快速推动问题闭环。
6. 配合南美区域战略，开展哥伦比亚、秘鲁、玻利维亚等周边国家的项目调研与前期对接。
任职要求：
1. 具备完整、独立的施工单位项目经理全职经验，非挂职、非助理；有技术负责人经历者优先，有海外项目经验者加分。
2. 精通综合机电安装，包括暖通、消防、强电、弱电、智能化及信息化系统；熟悉工业机电、水务环保配套机电，覆盖面越广越优先。
3. 兼具现场全盘管理能力与商务造价核算能力，擅长多方协调，能独立操盘海外项目。
4. 熟悉医院机电安装、水务环保类项目施工流程及行业标准者优先。
5. 具备西班牙语、英语基础沟通能力，能熟练使用翻译工具，注重跨文化沟通效率，不要求母语级水平。
6. 适应力强、抗压、目标导向，能快速响应属地突发问题，独立统筹海外项目全流程。
工作地点与到岗要求：常驻智利，支持哥伦比亚、秘鲁、玻利维亚等地的拓展工作；一个月内到岗。
