Spanish Translator and Interpreter

About this task

Responsibilities:
1. Provide Chinese–Spanish interpreting for business negotiations, project meetings, construction sites, and communications with government agencies.
2. Translate engineering and technical documents, contracts, tender documents, and equipment manuals, ensuring accurate terminology.
3. Assist the Chinese team in communicating with local partners, suppliers, and customers in Chile, including routine business and administrative matters.
4. Complete other assigned translation and business support tasks.
Requirements:
1. A background in Spanish studies, fluent spoken Spanish, proficiency in Latin American Spanish, and strong bilingual reading, writing, and translation skills.
2. Familiarity with terminology in electromechanical engineering, HVAC, fire protection, environmental protection, or construction; engineering translation experience is preferred.
3. Willingness to be based in Chile long term, a strong sense of responsibility, good communication and coordination skills, and adaptability to overseas work.
4. Overseas work or study experience and familiarity with Chilean culture and business practices are preferred.
Location: Based in Chile.
Compensation and benefits: Salary is negotiable, with overseas allowances and performance bonuses. Meals and accommodation, reimbursement of international round-trip flights, overseas commercial insurance, paid leave, and regular social insurance are provided.

岗位职责：

2. 翻译工程技术资料、合同文件、招投标文件、设备说明书等，确保专业术语准确。
3. 协助中方团队对接智利本地合作方、供应商、客户，处理日常商务及行政沟通事务。
4. 完成其他翻译及商务辅助工作。
任职要求：
1. 西班牙语专业，口语流利，精通拉美西语，具备扎实的双语读写翻译能力。
2. 了解机电、暖通、消防、环保、建筑等相关行业术语，有工程类翻译经验优先。
3. 能够长期常驻智利，责任心强，沟通协调能力好，能适应海外工作节奏。
4. 有海外工作或留学经历，熟悉智利当地风土人情及商务习惯者优先。
工作地点：智利（常驻）。
