About this task

Responsibilities:
- Translate and proofread documents for clients in the legal and insurance sectors, working from English into Simplified Chinese (Singapore).
- Deliver accurate, polished work and meet project deadlines while maintaining professionalism.

Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore).
- Specialization in legal or insurance translation, strong attention to detail, and sound spelling and grammar.
- Meet at least one qualification: a relevant degree with significant translation training; two years of translation experience and a college degree; five years of translation experience without a college degree; or a translation competence certificate from an appropriate government body.
- Asian time zone preferred. Applicants must complete translation and proofreading assessments and a background check.
