Chinese Mandarin Consecutive Interpreter

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive over-the-phone interpretation for calls, meetings, conferences, and interviews.
- Listen carefully and accurately convey messages between the source and target languages.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity, and follow HIPAA and client protocols.

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience or 3,000 hours of active interpretation.
- Proficiency in at least two languages and English proficiency at the technical level on the national ILR rating or equivalent.
- Pass a mock-call assessment and provide an up-to-date resume showing relevant experience and an English criminal background check.
- Have a headset, stable internet connection, and laptop to support assignments.
