Freelance Dutch Subtitler

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Translate and subtitle audiovisual trailer assets in Dutch according to client-specific guidelines and deliver subtitle files in SRT format.
- Translate on-screen text, forced narratives, key artwork text, and digital banners.
- Perform quality assurance on subtitles completed by other freelancers.

Requirements:
- Native fluency in Dutch and a high level of English.
- At least 5 years of subtitling experience and experience with Subtitle Edit.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond promptly to feedback.
- Availability for seasonal work, including a minimum of two titles per week during the busy season and occasional 24-hour delivery deadlines.
- Work is expected to run from September 2026 through April 2027. Familiarity with Jira and a portfolio or samples are a plus.
