Freelance Punjabi Linguist (India/Pakistan)

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Translate and review Punjabi content, including quality assurance and copy-editing.
- Check linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Provide feedback to translators and maintain glossaries, style guides, and work instructions.
- Respond to linguistic queries and collaborate with the translation team.
- Support linguist onboarding and contribute to improved review and quality processes.
- Meet quality and productivity KPIs and goals set by the team lead.

Requirements:
- University degree in Translation, Applied Languages, Linguistics, or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in translation, review, or localization.
- Native fluency in Punjabi and fluency in written and spoken English.
- Understanding of localization and review workflows; proficiency with standard office software.
- Experience with CAT tools and query or issue management tools.
