Payment Validation Specialist

About this task

Responsibilities:
- Verify unvalidated payment cases and determine corrective actions.
- Investigate claims of fraud, waste, or abuse committed by end users.
- Analyze data across systems to identify patterns in claims.
- Review refund records for suspicious activity, including high cancellation rates associated with high basket values.
- Investigate cancellations, delivered orders involving coupons, and commission evasion.
- Communicate with internal and external partners by email and telephone as needed to support investigations.
- Assist with implementing new processes and procedures.
- Report non-compliance and recurring payment-risk cases to management.
- Prepare summaries of investigation findings and recommendations.
- Undertake assigned project work, including research, written communications, and business case development.
- Revise processes and policies based on investigations to mitigate payment-risk losses.
- Maintain awareness of operational policies, procedures, services, and data-processing systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, preferably Business Administration.
- 1–3 years of experience using multiple systems, with a strong record of driving positive change.
- Previous experience in high-volume support or transactional work involving risk, quality assurance, compliance, or operations support.
- Process-driven and task-oriented approach.
