Freelance English-to-Turkish Legal Translator and/or Editor
Location: Remote, United States
Position type: Freelance / Contract, ongoing as needed

Responsibilities:
- Provide English-to-Turkish legal translation and/or editing services on an ongoing, as-needed basis.
- Deliver accurate, high-quality written work remotely, using appropriate legal terminology and meeting deadlines.

Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of professional experience providing legal translation and/or editing services.
- Native-level Turkish and English writing skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. legal, judicial, and technical terminology in English and Turkish.
- Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language, linguistics, translation, or a comparable field.
- Experience using computer-assisted translation tools; Trados experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to complete security clearance processing, including fingerprinting, if selected.

Availability:
- Generally available between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on most weekdays.
- Able to accept on-demand assignments totaling approximately 10 to 15 hours per week, as needed.
